Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications prescribed for different posts are different. You can choose the right post based on your qualification:
For those who have qualified Intermediate (12th Class):

LDC / Junior Assistant: Must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Along with this, there should be a speed of English typing (minimum 35 WPM) or Hindi typing (minimum 30 WPM) on computer.

Stenographer: Must have intermediate and a specified speed in stenography (dictation & transcription).

Assistant Section Officer (ASO) / Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any stream. Basic knowledge of computer applications is required.

Salary Structure

How to apply online? (Step-by-Step Application Process)

Step 1: OARS Registration
First of all, visit the official DSSSB application portal dsssbonline.nic.in . If you have never applied before, click on “Click for New Registration” and register by providing your basic details (name, father’s name, date of birth, 10th class roll number, Aadhaar card). This will generate a login ID and password for you.
Step 2: Login and Post Selection
Log in with your registration number and password. A list of currently active notifications will appear. For any post you are eligible for, click on the “Apply Online” button next to that post.
Step 3: Address and qualification details
You must enter your current address, permanent address, and your educational qualifications (Inter/Degree) marks details here accurately.
Step 4: Upload photo and signature
You need to upload your passport size photograph, signature, left and right thumb impressions in the specified size and format. Be careful about the photo size, upload it in the size asked in the notification.
Step 5: Fee Payment and Submit
